DDI Ukraine

Deep Democracy Institute Ukraine (DDI Ukraine) is an autonomous hub for learning and practicing ProcessWork and Deep Democracy. 

Deep Democracy Institute International, a global leadership think-tank, with Dr. Max Schupbach and Dr. Ellen Schupbach as co-founders and leaders, had been conducting training programs, consulting organizations, and members of various government bodies in Ukraine since 2007. Over these years, its faculty has been lecturing regularly at the Taras Shevchenko National University, Kyiv Mohyla Business School (kmbs), IBM Ukraine, Institute of Social and Political Psychology, and Kyiv Business School (KBS). 

Throughout these years, DDI Int’l organized Open Forums, Business Clinics, Ukraine’s Future Summit, and the Global Leadership Intensive in Kyiv, Lviv, and Odesa. Since 2023, DDI Ukraine has become an autonomous hub for learning and practicing ProcessWork and Deep Democracy, and DDI has become a Deep Democracy Alliance with members of DDI diplomats worldwide. 

In March 2022, due to the large-scale war in Ukraine, our dear teachers and friends, Max and Ellen, initiated bi-weekly community meetings to support our Ukrainian community in Ukraine and abroad. With love and support from our teachers, we, the team of three, including Anton Yermolenko, Serhiy Riabchuk, and Yuliya Filippovska, have been facilitating these meetings for 2.5 years now in partnership with ProcessWork Institute Ukraine.   

In DDI Ukraine, we are a community of 6 DDI diplomats: Anastasiya Leukhina, Anton Yermolenko, Maria Abyzova, Serhiy Riabchuk, Valerij Grishchuk, and Yuliya Filippovska, with Maria Makukha soon to be a diplomat.
